Application for membership to the Security Association of South Africa (SASA) must be submitted in writing through the application form, together with proof of payment of the application fee. Every membership application must be accompanied by the following compliance documentation.
- CIPC Registration certificate
- Valid PSIRA registration certificate
- Valid PSIRA letter of good standing
- Valid SARS Tax Clearance document
- Valid COID letter of good standing
- Valid Private Security Sector Provident Fund (PSSPF) compliance certificate
- Signed declaration by the applicant member that they do not employ the use of labour brokers or independent contractors
- Signed declaration by the applicant member that they do not employ the use of co-operatives
- Valid BEE Certificate
- Proof of submission of Employment Equity Plan to the Department of Labour
- Proof of Submission of Workplace Skills Plan to SASSETA
- In addition an independent audit of the applicant company’s payroll may be conducted, if so directed by the National Executive Committee
