Any person whom the association wishes to honour may be appointed as an Honorary Life Member by a majority vote at an Annual General Meeting of the Association or the National Executive committee.
Honorary Life Membership is considered the highest mark of esteem the Association can bestow and shall be given only to those who have rendered special and distinguished service to the country or to the Security Profession or to the Association.
Honorary Life Members may attend all meetings of the Association and enjoy all other Association privileges, but shall have no vote. This honour may be removed by the National Executive committee from any person on whom it was bestowed should it be found they have committed any act which brings the Association or the profession into disrepute.
