To help promote the use of compliant security providers, SASA encourages consumers to use SASA Gold Class Members. As an association, we demand as criteria of membership that all members are fully compliant with all industry and national legislation, and also have supporting documentation independently verified. All members must show documentary proof of Registration in terms of the Private Security Industry Regulation Act No 56 of 2001 or any amendment thereto.
Any sole trader, firm, partnership, company, close corporation or association which is engaged in the Security Profession in Southern Africa is eligible for Gold Class Membership, provided that the member is able to provide proof of compliance in respect of all legislative requirements upon joining the association, as well as annually and randomly thereafter.
